This year, the Canmore Half Marathon felt closer to home than ever for us. Two of our amazing teammates — Amber and Jasmin, our Aussies, laced up their shoes and ran their very first half-marathon right here in the Rockies!
For weeks, they committed themselves to preparation: mindful eating, prioritizing sleep, and building endurance step by step. And on race day, all of that dedication shone through as they crossed the finish line with smiles that said it all.
But the Canmore Half Marathon isn’t just about running. It’s about running for a cause. Each year, the race raises funds for the Embrace International Foundation, a local non-profit that brings compassion and justice to communities near and far. In 2025, proceeds are going toward building new sensory rooms in schools in Calgary — spaces designed to help children with autism and other needs manage anxiety, improve focus, and thrive in their learning.
Amber and Jasmin’s accomplishment reminds us of something bigger: the strength of community, the joy of personal milestones, and the impact we can make when we move with purpose.
We couldn’t be prouder of them — and we’re grateful to be part of a community where running a race means helping others cross their own finish lines. 💚
